Neuroradiology physician job in Massachusetts : A well-respected academic medical group in Central Massachusetts is adding an ABR and Neuroradiology CAQ certified/eligible radiologists at any rank.
About the opportunity:
Adult and pediatric neuroradiology responsibilities include brain, head, neck, and spine.
The candidate will provide evening (4-10 pm) and weekend coverage (8 am to 5 pm).
This position involves working one week on / one week off, which can be done 100% remotely without any onsite requirements.
Manageable volumes.
Dedicated ED Radiology Division interprets all ED Neuro CTs.
About the organization:
Access to the latest technology, research, and clinical trials.
The Department of Radiology includes 85 fellowship-trained Radiologists, all practicing in organ or modality-based divisions, including a 24/7/365 Emergency Radiology Division.
The Neuroradiology division comprises 9 fellowship-trained CAQ-certified faculty who interpret neuroradiology examinations and interpret or consult on complex neuroradiology cases throughout the health system.
All imaging is interpreted via an enterprise-wide PACSsystem integrated into an EPIC EMR.
Robust automated critical results communications system and a reading-room coordinator to minimize disruptions to the Radiologists? workflow.
There are 2 ACGME accredited ?Neuroradiology? fellowship positions and an ?MRI? fellow who devotes 50% effort to neuroradiology.
Areas of clinical focus includeStroke imaging, including perfusion; adult tumor imaging; Advanced Neuroimaging, including DTI and BOLD imaging; Head and neck tumors; and Neurodegenerative diseases
