Full job description
You'll thrive in this role if you have:
- EEC Teacher Certification (any age group), CDA, or equivalent degree and experience (preferred, not required)
- Daycare experience in a center-based or private school setting
- An engaging and energetic demeanor and a love for helping young children meet and exceed their developmental goals
Some requirements of the role include:
- Availability to work Monday through Friday within operating hours of the center (7:30 am to 5:00 pm)
- Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the children
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand up to 90% of the workday
- Attentiveness, strong time management, and a team-focused mindset
As a Floating Toddler Teacher, you will:
- Support lead teachers in daily classroom activities, lesson prep, and learning routines
- Provide flexible classroom coverage across infant, toddler, and preschool age groups in a licensed child care setting
- Step into different classrooms as needed to maintain consistent, high-quality care
- Build meaningful relationships with children, teachers, and families
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing environment throughout the day
