Yard Laborer Opening | Temp-to-Hire

Location: New Braunfels, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Yard Laborer to support daily yard and equipment operations. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment while assisting with the cleaning and preparation of rental equipment and materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean products, materials, equipment, and yard areas to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
• Remove debris and assist with general yard maintenance.
• Operate power tools, hand tools, and form-cleaning equipment as needed.
• Assist with cleaning, renovating, and preparing forms and materials for rental use.
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures and operating instructions.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools preferred.
• Ability to wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift throughout the workday.
• Frequently move and carry materials.
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Work Environment

• Outdoor work environment with exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and rain.
• Occasional exposure to moving machinery, airborne particles, and industrial materials.
• Required PPE includes:
  • Safety glasses
  • Hearing protection
  • Hard hat
  • Steel-toe safety shoes
