Fair Oaks Estates is a secure gated community that offers Assisted Living and Memory Care for older adults with dementia. Our 63-bedroom community is located on four beautiful acres in Carmichael California. Our spacious private and shared studio apartments offer excellent views of mature landscaping and colorful courtyards.

We provide specialized care plans specific to the unique needs of each resident. We work with families, doctors, and other support groups to ensure we provide the right amount of care and attention, but not so much that we inhibit independence.

We are seeking a Medication Technician to join our team! Competitive pay. The successful candidate will dispense medications to residents at our Assisted Living community and oversee the care and medication needs of our Memory Care Wing. Immediate hire for the right person. 

  • Previous Medication Technician experience required.  

Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with resident care director on resident changes, medication updates, etc.
  • Ensure Department is Title XXII compliant at all times
  • Following all medication guidelines that were given in medication training
  • Pull, pour, assist residents with medications
  • Ensure resident care is being done per assessment and documenting
  • Assist with med-room tasks
  • Assist and manage resident emergencies
  • Help on the floor as a caregiver when necessary

  • Previous experience as a Med Tech or Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Previous supervisor or management experience
  • Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures
  • Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
