Job Duties:             

  • Gather information to assist in identification of intrusion attempts
  • Assist with monitoring the security environment using various methods
  • Monitor logs and use correlation software
  • Learn and review existing security technologies and trends

Required Qualifications:                        

·Degree program(s) / Current Status:  Junior or Senior level undergraduate student, graduate student, or recently graduated with Computer Science and Cybersecurity concentrations

· Cumulative GPA: 3.0 preferred; 2.5 minimum cumulative GPA.

Other Qualifications:

  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of information technology, cybersecurity, security systems, or applications preferred.
  • Must demonstrate effective oral and written communication abilities.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to think analytically and present ideas professionally.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable to a changing work environment, and team-oriented.
  •  Undergraduates must be able to work 15 – 20 hours per week during the Spring and Fall semesters and 30 – 40 hours per week during the summer. Recent graduates must be able to work 30 – 40 hours per week year round.
