Full job description
Wellstar is seeking a Perinatal Sonographer to join our collaborative maternal-fetal medicine team. In this role, you will perform high-quality perinatal and obstetric ultrasound exams for high-risk pregnancies, producing accurate images to support complex clinical decisions. You will work closely with maternal-fetal medicine physicians, OB providers, and nurses to coordinate patient-centered care, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety. Responsibilities include operating advanced ultrasound equipment, maintaining precise documentation in the EMR, adhering to safety and infection-prevention standards, and supporting quality improvement and continuous learning within a large, innovative health system.
