Full job description
Our client, a healthcare logistics provider, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting vaccine distribution. The ideal candidate will have reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Shepherdsville, KY
Pay Range: $19.45
Shift: Monday-Thursday, 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Orientation: 1 week, conducted Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Training: 2 weeks, conducted Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
What's the Job?
- Verify product information and ensure accuracy during packing processes
- Pack vaccine coolers and prepare shipments for distribution
- Operate manual pallet jacks to move products within the warehouse
- Assist in stacking and lifting cooler boxes up to 80 lbs
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards
What's Needed?
- Reliability and punctuality are essential
- Ability to work standing for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort working in refrigerated environments (36°F to 45°F)
- Willingness to work overtime as needed, including potential Friday shifts
- Good attendance and a positive, can-do attitude
