The Strategic Contracts Document Specialist in Procurement manages the team’s intake and project management systems, assists internal business partners with their requests and questions received throughout the firm, reviews contracts for risk-related provisions, manages updates and enhancements for various technologies as needed, and performs analytics and other ad hoc tasks. The Strategic Contracts Document Specialist will work closely with the Strategic Contracts management team to drive efficient contract processes in support of Fidelity’s procurement organization. In addition, the Strategic Contracts Document Specialist will work on multiple internal contract tasks such as reporting, assigning, responding to research requests, assisting with analytics and technology projects, and processing workflows.
The Expertise You Have
Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred.
3-5 Experience in areas of contract administration, operations, process improvement, project management, internal controls, reporting, and analytics.
The Skills You Bring
Maintaining intake, assignment, front and back-end contracting, reporting, analytics, dashboards.
Performing contracts research and reviewing contract terms.
Partnering with internal stakeholders and management teams on various projects
Effective relationship management skills
Strong project management skills
Facility with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Planner; SharePoint
Ability to respond to shifting priorities while maintaining regularly scheduled work
Ability to work productively in a team environment in support of common goals
Collaborative partner with strong communication skills
Experience with buy-side contracting is a plus

The Team
The Strategic Contracts team in Procurement is an organization of talented, experienced contracts negotiation professionals who lead the legal, risk and business contractual framework for products and service purchasing agreements with Fidelity’s most strategic vendors. We are part of Fidelity’s larger Vendor Management Organization. We are vendor-facing associates who partner closely with the business and internal legal teams in all phases of the contracting process. We strive to build strong relationships, while protecting the firm from risk.
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
