Location: Bridgewater, NJ
Starting $23.34
Shift:12 hours
Day Shift. Monday 1pm – 5pm & Tuesday – Thursday 5am – 5pm

Overview:
This position supports quality and laboratory operations by performing hands-on testing, sample preparation, evaluation, and validation activities that help ensure product quality, process consistency, and compliance with established standards.
Principal job Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for but not limited to:
- Conducting mechanical testing
- Metallographic sample preparation and evaluation
- Mechanical and metallurgical validation testing
- Electrical cable testing
- Optical fiber testing
- Other laboratory related activities as directed
Any other duties that may be relevant due to experience, capability, knowledge, and education that may be directed by superior management personnel.
Works with production supervision and management to facilitate an efficient operation plan on site. Ensures the implementation and maintenance of the integrated QHSE management system for the site.
As directed and as needed, the duties with require interaction with various internal functions and possibly external as well.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience.
- Job knowledge/skill, understanding of quality of work, production/work habits, attendance/punctuality, problem solving/initiative team participation, integrity /attitude, safety/housekeeping.
Required Skills:
- Proficient using MS Office and quality related software, measurement tools, gages, and instruments and metallurgical laboratory equipment.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Must be self-directed and motivated; Desires, possess and has demonstrated the characteristics to grow within the organization
Desired Experience:
- One (1) year of laboratory and testing activities preferred.
- Manufacturing Quality experience.
