Locum CRNA needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Winchester, KY. KY license preferred.
- Shift Details: 4x10/weekly. Providers must be able to work every week.
- Schedule: Full-Time; 7a-5:30p (1/2-hour lunch) ; MUST be available 4 weeks/month.
- Support staff: CRNA, Anesthesia Tech, Anesthesiologists. Will be directed by Anesthesiologist (General ratio 1:2 anesthesiologists to 1. CRNA and 1 resident, can be up to 1:4 anesthesiologists to CRNA for low acuity) CRNAs are medically directed, typically 2-1, or 3-1.
- The Attending usually has a Resident in the other room, so their primary focus is on that room, and on teaching.
- Amount of coverage needed per month: Full time, 4 x 10/week, 6 months.
- Patients per day: Depends, 1-9/daily.
- Patient population/age: All age spans (no Neonatal).
- Department description: CRNA would cover the following: Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, Neuro (No Heart)
- EMR: EPIC preferred.
- All providers will be required to work NORA.
- Skills required: Intubation, Central Line, Arterial line, Line Placement. Not likely needed to do blocks. No OB.
- Practice Setting: Hospital (Level 1 Trauma Center).
- Board Certification: NBCRNA.
- Level 1 Trauma Experience Required.
- State license required: Yes, State of KY - open to licensing.
- Minimum experience required: 1 yr experience (NO NEW GRAD).
- Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days.
