Lead Sonographer

Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a high-performing imaging team. In this role, you will perform and oversee complex vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, and small-parts exams, ensuring accurate imaging, quality standards, and patient safety. You will mentor technologists, coordinate schedules, and collaborate closely with radiologists and providers. The Lead Sonographer supports protocol development, staff education, equipment maintenance, and process improvements that enhance patient-centered care across Wellstar’s integrated health system.
