What You'll Do
As an Industrial Engineer, you will identify opportunities, analyze data, and lead improvement initiatives that drive operational excellence across the Samples Division.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead process improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, service, and cost performance.
- Analyze workflows, labor utilization, and operational data to identify and implement efficiency improvements.
- Develop and maintain labor standards, time studies, and performance metrics.
- Create, track, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational dashboards.
- Manage and support operational and capital budgeting activities.
- Evaluate supplier performance, material selection, and cost optimization opportunities.
- Assess and improve product flow throughout the supply chain to increase speed and reduce waste.
- Monitor capacity and utilization across multiple operational areas and recommend improvements.
- Lead cross-functional projects from concept through implementation.
- Support capital projects by developing business cases and measuring return on investment.
- Troubleshoot operational systems and recommend process enhancements.
- Conduct data-driven analysis and provide recommendations to business leaders.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Improvement, Continuous Improvement, Operations Excellence, or related fields.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Understanding of financial concepts such as budgeting, cost analysis, product costing, and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence methodologies.
- Experience conducting time studies, labor analysis, and capacity planning.
- Experience leading cross-functional improvement projects.
- Knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing, or distribution operations.
- Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or similar platforms.
