Summary

Jefferson seeks an experienced AI Technical Product Manager to lead enterprise AI product strategy, governance, and delivery. The role manages AI-enabled capabilities across the full lifecycle—from ideation and prioritization through deployment, optimization, and retirement—while ensuring measurable business value, scalable adoption, and responsible AI practices. Working across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Architecture, Security, Operations, Finance, 
Compliance, and business stakeholders, this leader aligns AI investments to Jefferson’s strategic priorities and converts emerging AI opportunities into governed, high-impact solutions. The position supports enterprise AI transformation, legacy modernization, SaaS rationalization, and responsible innovation to improve patient care, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage.

Job Duties

  • Intake and Prioritization | AI Roadmap Development
  • Manage AI intake, evaluate use cases for strategic fit, feasibility, risk, and data readiness, and translate approved demand into a prioritized enterprise AI roadmap.
  • Maintain roadmap visibility across priorities, dependencies, sequencing, timelines, investment needs, and delivery status of Business Case and Value Definition
  • Partner with Finance, executive sponsors, and business units to define AI value propositions, success metrics, adoption targets, operational impacts, and expected financial returns.
  • Align AI investments to organizational KPIs through benefits tracking, forecasting, and value realization measures.
  • AI-Ready Requirements
  • Translate business needs into AI-ready requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, data inputs, model constraints, and integration needs.
  • Manage the AI product backlog in alignment with strategic priorities, stakeholder expectations, and engineering capacity.
  • Responsible AI Governance
  • Embed fairness, transparency, accountability, privacy, security, explainability, bias detection, auditability, and human oversight throughout the AI lifecycle.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, and Ethics stakeholders to meet regulatory and institutional standards.
  • Product Development & Delivery
  • Own the AI product lifecycle from concept through launch and continuous improvement, including epics, user stories, backlog grooming, prioritization, and delivery readiness.
  • Coordinate Agile execution, remove blockers, and drive progress through PI Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
  • Change Management and Adoption
  • Lead release planning, environment coordination, stakeholder communications, training readiness, and go-live support in partnership with change management teams. Apply deployment governance to ensure quality, safety, compliance, and adoption across production environments.
  • Value Realization and Optimization
  • Measure post-launch performance through telemetry, user feedback, outcome metrics, ROI, utilization, and clinical or business impact.
  • Recommend scaling, refinement, cost optimization, or retirement based on demonstrated value and ongoing performance.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field or High School Diploma/GED and 10 years preferred work experience.
  • 7 years in product management or technical leadership
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe) and product lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to define acceptance criteria and ensure test coverage.
  • Familiarity with test planning, UAT coordination, and defect management.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 10 years in enterprise product management, experience with program-level planning and governance.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools and frameworks (Azure DevOps, Jira, Rally, ServiceNow; SAFe, LeSS) and strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies (including AI), API integrations, data flow concepts, and enterprise architecture.
  • Expertise in portfolio-level planning, governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management, with ability to influence enterprise testing strategy and automation adoption.
  • Experience with advanced testing methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and performance/security best practices.
  • Knowledge of healthcare or enterprise systems is a plus.
  • CSM - Certified ScrumMaster - Scrum Alliance


Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
