<p align="center"><b>Let your career thrive with Volt</b></p> <p align="center">Volt is hiring a <b>1st Shift</b> <b>Mfg.</b> <b>Quality Specialist</b> for a leading organization in<b> Phoenix, AZ.</b></p> <p> </p> <p>As a <b>Quality Specialist</b>, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Support quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with company, customer, and industry standards.</li> <li>Monitor product and process quality to maintain operational excellence.</li> <li>Conduct inspections and audits to verify product conformance and quality requirements.</li> <li>Utilize measurement tools and inspection equipment to evaluate products and processes.</li> <li>Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and quality documentation.</li> <li>Identify, document, and investigate quality issues and defects.</li> <li>Collaborate with operations, engineering, and cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns.</li> <li>Provide feedback and recommendations to production teams to prevent recurring defects.</li> <li>Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.</li> <li>Track quality metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives.</li> <li>Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.</li> <li>Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>This is a <b>Full time,</b> <b>temp to hire</b> opportunity.</p> <p><b>Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm</b></p> <p> </p> <p>Must be available to work overtime and weekends as needed.</p> <p><b>The ideal candidate will have:</b></p> <ul> <li>Experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.</li> <li>Proficiency in using measurement tools and inspection equipment.</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Effective verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively with operations, engineering, and cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Strong organizational and time management skills.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.</li> <li>Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.</li> <li>Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Preferred Skills & Qualifications</b></p> <ul> <li>Experience supporting quality assurance and quality control activities in a manufacturing environment.</li> <li>Experience performing inspections, audits, and documenting quality findings.</li> <li>Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action processes.</li> <li>Ability to identify and communicate quality concerns to production teams.</li> <li>Experience tracking quality metrics and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.</li> <li>Familiarity with quality documentation, specifications, and compliance requirements.</li> <li>Strong teamwork and communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.</li> <li>Manufacturing experience preferred.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Pay Rate:</b> <b><i>$25/hr. -$27/hr.
