As a Sales Engineer, you’ll be the technical partner to our commercial sales team, helping customers understand how Harbinger’s platform solves real-world fleet challenges. You’ll work directly with customers while partnering closely with Engineering, Product, Service, and Sales to develop technical solutions that accelerate vehicle adoption.
- Partner with Sales throughout the customer journey, from initial discovery through vehicle delivery.
- Lead technical discussions, product demonstrations, and customer presentations.
- Understand customer operations and recommend vehicle configurations that meet their business needs.
- Serve as the technical expert on Harbinger’s vehicle platform, charging solutions, and commercial applications.
- Develop technical proposals, respond to customer requirements, and support RFPs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve technical challenges and communicate customer feedback that shapes future products.
- Support pilot programs, customer launches, dealer training, and industry events.
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Applications Engineering, Field Engineering, or another customer-facing technical role.
- Strong understanding of automotive, commercial vehicles, electrification, industrial equipment, or related technologies.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a wide range of audiences.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, highly collaborative startup environment.
- Experience supporting commercial fleets or medium-duty vehicles.
- Knowledge of EV powertrains, charging infrastructure, or fleet operations.
- Experience working with dealers, upfitters, or technical channel partners.
