Work Environment

Your everyday work setting will be onsite in our modern Rehabilitation Center, designed to foster a supportive atmosphere that empowers both staff and patients. The position offers a schedule from Monday to Friday, 2 PM to 8 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life synergy.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Total Fit Physical Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care by managing the therapeutic process for a designated group of patients in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team.
• Conducting thorough patient assessments to develop and implement individualized care plans aimed at achieving patient goals and enhancing engagement in their care journey.
• Providing skilled physical therapy interventions and ensuring continuity of care across treatment settings, including inpatient and outpatient environments.
• Evaluating patient progress by assessing functional, rehabilitative, and therapeutic status, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Instructing patients and caregivers on exercises, therapeutic modalities, and the use of assistive and adaptive devices to facilitate recovery outside therapy sessions.
• Efficiently prioritizing caseloads and coordinating assignments while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population you will serve includes individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions, as well as those requiring specialized rehabilitation programs. Our diverse clientele encompasses pediatric to geriatric patients, allowing you to apply a wide range of therapeutic modalities tailored to individual needs. Your role will be crucial in addressing the functional impairments and adaptive challenges faced by patients navigating their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

To become a valued member of our team, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• A current and valid Physical Therapy license.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification—must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Open to recent graduates, as no prior experience is required.

Preferred Experience
