Catch Crew Laborer

A catch crew member is responsible for working safely and ensuring animal welfare guidelines  are met when assisting with catch machine operations by proper placement and handling of equipment and live bird handling as needed.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

Catch crew members perform a variety of hands‑on tasks throughout the catch machine operation process.

 

• Deploying and retrieving nets or other supplies needed in catch machine process.
• Proper chicken handling when necessary to complete catch process.

 

Work Environment

Catch crew work includes working in contract grower houses to include warm, hot, and dusty work environments.

Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.

Rehire Rule of no more than  3 times worked at Tyson Foods.s.
