Overview: The Patient Care Assistant (PCA) provides direct patient care and supportive services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The PCA assists in delivering safe, effective, patient-centered care while ensuring a clean, orderly environment and demonstrating service excellence behaviors to promote patient and family satisfaction.

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or GED

Required Licensure/Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Preferred Licensure/Certifications:

• CNA

Preferred Experience:

• 1 year of hands on patient care experience
