American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehab position, welcoming new grads and requiring BLS certification. Details

Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting with 93 beds, 80 currently staffed Patient population spans all ages, averaging 65 years old, with occasional pediatric cases Caseload is approximately 60% neurological conditions (spinal cord injury, stroke, MS, ALS, Parkinson's) and 40% other diagnoses Typical productivity involves 6-6.5 hours of direct patient care, treating 6-7 patients per day at about 1 hour each Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM No weekend scheduling required Uses WellSky EMR Requirements

BLS certification required New graduates accepted License required if applicable Experience with neurological conditions including spinal cord injury, stroke, MS, ALS, and Parkinson's disease preferred Experience with post-stroke rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury, and cognitive disorders preferred Familiarity with Neurodevelopmental Technique (NDT) preferred Experience with spinal mobilization and post-op spinal surgery preferred Additional Information

Responsibilities include treating a diverse patient population with a strong focus on neurological rehabilitation Black and/or red scrubs required Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate Open to first-time travelers
