Full job description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clean and trouble-free molds by cleaning dirty molds and rinsing as necessary using hand tools, or other cleaning processes according to written specifications. The incumbent will be expected to set up mold sets for presses. 

  • Inspect all molds and replace broken molds. 

  • Hand clean mold sets as necessary. 

  • Do mold set safety and wear checks. 

  • Check knock-out for loose cups. Check mold set for safety, e.g. loose center plate bolts, rear hinge bolts and pins or bolts with excessive wear. 

  • All bolts must be tightened. 

  • Perform all other duties as assigned by supervision.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent degree
High level of commitment and flexibility
Willingness and ability to work shifts
Willingness and resilience to meet the physical demands of the position
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and consistently changing environment
