Volt is immediately hiring for a Car Assembler for a Manufacturing company located in Anaheim, CA. As a Car Assembler you will: Job Description <ul> <li>Day to Day Responsibilities</li> <li>Prepare and assemble vehicle parts, sub-systems, and components onto custom vehicles</li> <li>Safely use and operate various tools including power tools, hoists, and production equipment</li> <li>Accurately complete paperwork required for production records.</li> <li>Ability to read, understand, and follow established processes and instructions.</li> <li>Perform duties assigned by Supervisor and/or Group Leader.</li> <li>Use air/power/vibrating tools and do strong, pincher gripping.</li> <li>Work safely around moving equipment, power tools, and industrial vehicles</li> </ul> This is a full time opportunity Monday - Friday + weekends as needed The ideal candidate will have: <ul> <li>Required Skills & Qualifications <ul> <li>Experience assembling cars or electric vehicles</li> <li>Understanding of Mechanical and assembly concepts</li> <li>Follow all safety rules and regulations strictly and maintain a clean and orderly work area.</li> <li>Maintain a consistent pace throughout the shift with focus on quality (i.e., within applicable quality standards).</li> <li>Work overtime as required and mandated by production schedules.</li> <li>Maintain regular, reliable attendance.</li> <li>Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs.</li> <li>Ability to bend, twist, turn, kneel, and squat.</li> <li>Stand and walk for the duration of assigned shift and reach overhead continuously.</li> <li>Repetitive use of upper extremities. It may be necessary to perform any of these functions up to twelve hours a day.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Preferred Skills & Qualifications <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED</li> <li>Basic knowledge of computers.</li> <li>Basic knowledge of power, air, torque, and manual tools</li> </ul> </li> </ul> Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and occasionally overtime on Saturday Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
