Full job description
Key Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to nonconformances, customer complaints, product returns, rework, and corrective and preventive actions.
- Investigate quality issues, conduct root cause analyses, and implement effective corrective actions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Analyze quality and process performance data to identify trends, support problem-solving activities, and drive measurable process improvements.
- Support customer audits, site visits, complaint investigations, and product performance reviews to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance.
- Maintain quality and product safety documentation, records, specifications, and supplier quality requirements.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality systems, procedures, and work instructions.
- Provide quality-related training and guidance to production and operations personnel to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Participate in internal audits, inspections, and verification activities, and support corrective action follow-up.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, and technical teams to improve product quality, process capability, and operational performance.
- Support compliance with customer, regulatory, and company quality standards and requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality environment preferred; internships, co-op experience, or applicable project work will be considered.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
