WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Lead and partner in strategic projects focused on Electrical and Electronic commodities across our global locations. Align with the global and local commodity teams to select and develop suppliers, while leveraging negotiated agreements.
- Support cost management initiatives focusing on cost tracking and escalation.
- Coordinate and resolve issues regarding existing and new suppliers. Interact with customers and internal partners to ensure that all requirements are being met.
- Designs and develops specific supply chain initiatives to achieve a competitive advantage through supply resiliency and improved responsiveness to customer demand.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related degree.
- 5+ years experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Operations in a high growth environment is preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Project management skills to develop plans with action steps and timetables, meet deadlines, coordinate cross functional teams, and handle multiple priorities.
- Excellence in analytical, fact-based problem solving.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances; must be able to thrive in a constantly changing business environment.
- Ability to build and maintain effective work relationships at all levels both internally and externally (customers, suppliers, etc.)
- Minimum 15% travel required.

Pay Transparency
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
