Job Description
Duties:
- Input accurate vehicle information for registration into the system using a handheld computer (zebra TC) for each vehicle received at the auction.
- Vehicle identification number (VIN).
- Stock number
- Dealer identification number
- make, model, year, mileage, color, options, etc.
- Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received.
- Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry.
- associate and install OBDII tracking device.
- Direct transporters to proper car drop zone.
- Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
- Work in cooperation with safety leadership in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required
- Basic computer skills required
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear.
- Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb.
- Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.
- Vision abilities required include close, distance, and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work environment:
- This is an outside position with exposure to the weather elements in Michigan.
