Our client, a leader in the materials testing industry, is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of the Research and Development department supporting innovative testing and analysis projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Lab Technician (6-month contract)
Location: Eden Prairie, MN
Pay Range:$25/hr.
What's the Job?
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and thermal properties testing of thermal interface materials and coatings
- Evaluate, collect, and accurately record experimental data
- Participate in organizing and executing experiments following established procedures
- Summarize and report results using laboratory notebooks and presentation tools
- Utilize computer software to input data, create charts, and communicate project findings effectively
What's Needed?
- Experience with laboratory testing and data collection
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently with initiative and responsibility
- Proficiency in using computer applications for data entry and reporting
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or thermal testing methods is a plus
