Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $1890 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Graduate from an accredited college program in respiratory care.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Prior adult intensive care and emergency department care preferred.

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Unit Details: Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy according to physicians’ orders. Determines effectiveness of therapy. Provides ventilator support during cardiopulmonary resuscitation and maintains life support equipment in intensive care units and other designated areas.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends as needed.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026, 01/01/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• RRT-ACCS (Adult Critical Care Specialty)
