Treatment Room LVN

Monday through Friday | No Evenings | No Weekends | Immediate Benefits Eligibility

Are you a compassionate LVN looking for a rewarding career caring for patients in an oncology setting while maintaining excellent work-life balance? The START Center for Cancer Care is seeking a dedicated Treatment Room LVN to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced oncology professionals in a patient-focused environment, providing skilled nursing care and support to patients throughout their treatment journey. The position offers a weekday schedule with no evening, weekend, or on-call shifts, along with immediate benefits eligibility.

What You'll Do

  • Administer IV fluids and medications as prescribed by physicians.
  • Conduct nursing assessments and monitor patients throughout treatment.
  • Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatment plans, and potential side effects.
  • Obtain vital signs, height, and weight and prepare patients for clinic visits.
  • Perform venipuncture and specimen collection.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and treatment administration.
  • Coordinate care with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain exam and treatment rooms, supplies, and a safe clinical environment.

Qualifications

  • Current Texas LVN license in good standing.
  • Oncology, infusion, or IV therapy experience preferred.
  • Strong phlebotomy and venous access skills.
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
