Essex County OB/GYN is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN physician to join our Laborist team on Massachusetts beautiful North Shore.

Position Highlights
$180-$250 per hour based on experience and qualifications

Approximately

12 shifts per month

Flexible mix of day and night shifts

2,000 deliveries annually

No outpatient office responsibilities

No patient panel management

No routine inbox management

High-Volume Obstetrics with Exceptional Support
Our labor and delivery service manages approximately

2,000 births annually

, providing physicians with a rewarding blend of routine and complex obstetrical care.
Laborists practice within a highly collaborative coverage model designed to support both patient safety and physician satisfaction.
At all times, physicians have access to:
Dedicated laborist physician coverage

Certified Nurse Midwife coverage

Private attending physician support

One to two additional providers available for backup coverage 24 hours a day

Our physicians are never practicing in isolation and benefit from a team-based approach that promotes collaboration during routine care, high-volume periods, and obstetric emergencies.

Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology

Eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure

Strong obstetrical and surgical skills
