The Role at a Glance
As a Medication Technician, you are the heartbeat of our resident care. You'll work under the supervision of a licensed nurse to ensure our seniors receive their treatments safely and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
* Clinical Care: Administer medications, breathing treatments, and skin care as prescribed.
* Monitoring: Track vitals, weights, and blood sugar; report any status changes to the Wellness Director.
* Documentation: Maintain 100% accuracy in electronic medical records (EMR) and daily logs.
* Operations: Manage pharmacy deliveries, restock med carts, and ensure infection control standards.
* Team Support: Assist with resident meals and general care duties to ensure a seamless community experience.
What You'll Need
* Experience: Minimum 1 year as a Medication Technician.
* Skills: Knowledge of medical terminology and comfort with EMR systems.
* Strength: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active on your feet.
