A health services organization in New York is seeking a Psychiatrist for an inpatient setting in Rockland County. This role provides direct psychiatric care, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, and supports evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing coordination for behavioral health patients.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day shift
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, with weekend call rotation
• Hours: Standard business
• Setting: Inpatient hospital

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to patients and coordinate care across the continuum
• Assess patients' physical, psychological, spiritual, and social needs
• Direct patients to the next appropriate service and track their progress
• Collaborate with the Medical Director to ensure appropriate behavioral health evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and medical screening
• Document medical and psychiatric care accurately in the medical record

Qualifications:

• Licensed physician in the State of New York
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry

Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
