Southern Health Partners is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to serve as a Medical Services Coordinator at the Warren County Detention Center in North Carolina. This role is ideal for an LPN who enjoys leadership, values structure, and is ready to take ownership of clinical operations while continuing hands on patient care.

This is not a desk only position. It is a working leadership role within a secure correctional healthcare environment, offering consistency, collaboration, and the opportunity to influence care delivery for a diverse patient population.

Position Details

Location: Warren County Detention Center, North Carolina
Position: Licensed Practical Nurse Medical Services Coordinator
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: 32 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care while coordinating daily nursing operations
Support and guide nursing staff to ensure consistent, high quality care
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and progress
Administer medications in accordance with nursing standards and correctional regulations
Ensure treatment plans and provider directives are followed accurately
Respond to medical concerns, emergencies, and time sensitive situations
Maintain compliance with State Scope of Practice, facility policies, and clinical guidelines
Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, providers, and facility leadership
