Orthopedic Hand Surgery physician job in New York :

A Long Island-based healthcare network is seeking an experienced Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join their practice in Nassau County.

About the Opportunity:

Shift: Day
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: Standard business hours
Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient

Responsibilities:

Providing medical care in a high-functioning outpatient setting
Collaborating with orthopedic colleagues in a world-class health system
Engaging in leadership and career development opportunities
Working with additional support staff
Managing a split of outpatient and inpatient populations
Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

MD/DO degree
Board-certified/eligible in General Orthopedics
Completion of a hand fellowship
Valid New York license
High level of expertise in Orthopedic Surgery
Strong patient care skills
Excellent communication skills
Leadership abilities

Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
