Lead Sonographer

Wellstar seeks a Lead Sonographer to oversee high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services within our integrated, patient-centered health system. In this role, you will perform complex exams, optimize imaging protocols, and support accurate diagnoses across diverse clinical settings. You will mentor and precept sonographers and students, guide daily workflow, and collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and nurses. The position also supports quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and equipment maintenance while modeling compassionate, inclusive, and safe patient care aligned with Wellstar’s mission.
