MDS Coordinator Registered Nurse (RN)
Setting: Healthcare Facilities
Job Type: Contract - Full Time
Pay: $50 / Hour
Hours: 40.00
Location: Omaha, NE

The Minimum Data Set (MDS) Coordinator coordinates and schedules minimum data set collection based on federally mandated timeframes or in response to resident events, assesses resident functional status, and develops a comprehensive care plan.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An active Registered Nurse (RN) license within the state for which practice will occur
  • MDS certification (administered by The American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordinators) as required by state or contract
  • 2 or more years of MDS experience, preferred
  • Exceptional knowledge of medical terminology
  • Proficiency in MDS most recent version
  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
