Cardiac Cath Lab - Travel Registered Nurse - $2160 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - RN experience in circulating and/or scrubbing, monitoring, pre-op, or recovery is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - RN scrub experience and pre-/post-procedure care experience preferred.

Unit Details: - RNs rotate through cath lab holding for pre-op and recovery in four-person teams. - Procedures and cases include right/left heart catheterizations, peripheral and carotid angiography/stenting, PE/DVT cases, Impella/IABP, TEE/cardioversion, permanent pacemakers, IVC filters, and ECMO cannulations. - Cath lab 1 uses GE equipment, and cath lab 2 uses Philips equipment. - Uses Merge. - Monday through Wednesday are the busiest days; Thursday and Friday are lighter.

Shift & Scheduling: - Shifts are scheduled for 12 hours but may run until work is finished; some days can be long. - On-call requirement: approximately 15 days in a 6-week time frame; self-scheduling.

Floating Requirements: - If short of hours and other departments need tasking, may float to tasks in other departments.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
