Compensation Range
The base pay scale for this position is $74,426.62 - $81,130.82. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.What you will be doing
JOB DESCRIPTION
The candidate will focus on investigating the cellular and molecular mechanisms of orthopaedic implant osseointegration. The candidate should be highly motivated, productive, and interested in pursuing a research career.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Five years.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
Five years of postgraduate research experience in basic science.
EDUCATION REQUIRED
PhD or medical degree
EDUCATION PREFERRED
Candidates with a recent Ph.D. in Developmental Biology, Cell and Molecular Biology, or Neuroscience are highly desirable.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Strong scientific writing skills, along with expertise in mouse genetics, light and confocal microscopy, and gold-standard cell and molecular biology techniques, are required. The candidate is expected to have one or more high-quality first-author publications in cell biology, disease mouse models, or related fields.
SKILLS PREFERRED
Expertise in mouse models of wound healing and/or skeletal stem/progenitor cell biology is highly desirable.
