This facility operates as a student health center delivering outpatient primary care services to an adult patient population. The facility maintains on-site support staff, including 2 staff nurses and 2 family nurse practitioners, to support daily clinical operations and care coordination. Clinical workflows are structured to address the primary care needs of the patient population served.

Providence and the surrounding Rhode Island area offer clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor, cultural, and community activities suited to varied interests. The region features narrated boat tours along the Providence River, guided nature walks, zoo events, glass blowing classes, and food truck gatherings, as well as local marketplaces. Nearby towns such as Bristol and Barrington provide additional options, including gardens, historic estates, and natural centers available during time away from assignment.

Clinicians will provide outpatient primary care services to adult patients at an on-site student health facility in Rhode Island, working part time 3 days per week during 6.5-hour day shifts. Clinical responsibilities encompass the evaluation and management of primary and acute care conditions within the outpatient setting, with an expected caseload of 6-12 patients per day. No call coverage is required for this assignment. Prescriptive authority is required, and board certification is negotiable.
