Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Preferred Credentials: Oncology certification preferred.

Unit Details: Most patients are general medical/surgical with a specialty in post-op cancer intervention, including prostatectomy and mastectomy. Travelers will not be required to administer chemotherapy. Telemetry with central monitoring; RN responsible for noticing changes. Common drips include heparin, lidocaine, and TPN.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period (night weekends days are Fridays and Saturdays). Rotating holidays. No call.

Floating Requirements: Rare floating, if needed only to other medical/surgical units.
