Join Our Team as an Interventional Radiologist in Beautiful Phoenix!
Phoenix VA Interventional Radiology seeks a talented Interventional Radiologist to join our growing three-physician IR team. We are part of a well-established practice in Phoenix, Arizona, supporting the Phoenix VA Medical Center with a full range of interventional oncology, hepatobiliary, and advanced body procedures. We offer a diverse case mix, including endovascular treatment of PAD (excluding EVAR, TEVAR, and neuro intervention), along with the full spectrum of other image-guided interventions. The group is committed to training and supporting motivated IR physicians who wish to further develop specific procedural skills.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive Salary : Up to $400,000 annually
Annual Performance Bonus & Regular Salary Increases
Sign-on Bonus : Up to 25% of your annual salary
Paid-Time Off : 50 - 55 days of annual PTO (26 days of annual leave, 13 sick days, 11 paid federal holidays, and up to 5 days for CME)
Retirement : Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401k with up to 5% contribution by VA
Insurance : Federal health, vision, dental, term life, and long-term care insurance (carry into retirement)
CME : Possible $2,500/year reimbursement
Malpractice : Free liability protection with tail coverage provided
Flexible Contract : No Physician Employment Contract and minimal restrictions on moonlighting
Employment Requirements:
Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree in medicine or osteopathic medicine
Unrestricted License : One full and unrestricted license from any U.S. state or territory
U.S. Citizenship : Non-citizens may be considered when qualified citizens are not available, per VA policy
