Full job description
Our client, a leader in the printing and manufacturing industry, is seeking a Printer Machine Operator to join their team. As a Printer Machine Operator, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Printer Machine Operator
Location: Lynchburg, VA
Pay Range: $17
Shift: 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, 2:30 P.M. to 11:00 P.M.
What's the Job?
- Operate all Operations Print equipment efficiently and accurately.
- Perform quality control checks prior to setting up each order and each time paper is removed from the printer.
- Order necessary stock from the warehouse before running each job.
- Help monitor that all documentation is current with instructions and samples.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to stand for most of the work shift and lift/move 45 pounds or more.
- Proficiency in Windows XP, Microsoft Word, Excel, and understanding of Adobe PDFs.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.
