Full job description
We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Forestville, MD. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills needed for everyday life. Minimum Requirements
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
- Active Maryland COTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Experience with activities of daily living (ADL) retraining, adaptive equipment, and documentation in electronic medical records preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Shift: Days.
- Shift hours: 08:30–16:30.
- Typical schedule: 5x8.
- Start: ASAP.
