Overview:

Security & Maintenance Technician

RiverWoods in Exeter is currently seeking a full time Evening (2pm to Midnight) staff member to join our team on for Security & Maintenance work and help provide excellent and quality customer service in support of our residents and community. This is a Wednesday through Saturday position

Responsibilities:
  • Provides quality customer service with a positive attitude and commitment to teamwork while meeting the needs of residents, staff and visitors. Supports all aspects of the RiverWoods community.
  • Conduct interior and exterior patrols.
  • Conduct resident safety program/check. (RSP).
  • Respond to medical and facility emergencies.
  • Answer all calls for assistance.
  • Ensure all facility access points are secure i.e., doors and windows.
  • Monitor HVACR and Life safety system settings and report unresolved issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Perform Environmental Service routine duties, including but not limited to trash removal, floor care, work orders, snow removal operations and shift coverage.
  • Perform life safety and other related facility inspections.
  • Prepare appropriate logs and reports.
  • Follow Hazard Communication Policies and Procedures to include but not limited to Lock Out Tag Out and the Globally Harmonized System.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

1-3 years security or military experience, familiarity with computers and communication devices are preferred.

Basic knowledge of general maintenance and the ability to maintain confidentiality and boundaries for private issues are required to perform the duties of the security technician position.

Experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC or another trade is desirable.

Valid Driver's License is required
