Diesel Technician / Mechanic

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and fix malfunctions and conduct regular maintenance to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition.
  • Communicate with parts departments to obtain necessary parts.
  • Record all work performed and recommended on repair orders.
  • Road test vehicles to ensure repairs are effective.
  • Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members
  • Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs.
  • Keep vehicles and shop areas clean.
  • Manage dealership-owned tools and manuals
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in diesel technology.



Job Requirements:

  • 1+ year experience as a Diesel Technician or Mechanic
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, drivetrains, and truck systems
  • Ability to diagnose issues using scan tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in a busy shop environment
  • Reliable, teamâ€'oriented, and committed to highâ€'quality workmanship
