Job Description

Peterson Trucks has the immediate need for a Parts Delivery Drive based at our Santa Rosa, CA location.

The Parts Delivery Driver provides safe and efficient transportation of parts to customers and supports daily warehouse and delivery operations. This role ensures accurate deliveries, maintains delivery records, assists customers during the delivery process, and helps maintain vehicle and warehouse readiness.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Drive company delivery vans, pickup trucks, and flatbed trucks in safe manner to deliver parts to customers’ place of business.
• Load delivery vehicles with parts weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure all parts to be delivered are loaded into delivery vehicle prior to beginning route.
• Use last-mile logistics system to set delivery routes and record completed deliveries.
• Record pickup and delivery transactions on customer receipt and obtain customer signature.
• Assist customers with unloading delivered parts in accordance with company policies and customer agreements.
• Collect money from customers and make change as needed.
• Listen to and relay service complaints to supervisor.
• Collect empty containers, rejected merchandise, unsold merchandise, and core parts.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on delivery vehicles including but not limited to lights, and fluid levels. Clean and maintain the inside of the delivery vehicle.
• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the parts warehouse by performing housekeeping duties as directed.
• Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one (1) year of driving experience and three (3) months of customer service experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

The pay hourly pay range for this position is:$21.75-$25.00. We also offer a total compensation package in addition to base salary.
