Full job description

Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a Dual Enrollment Counselor to support the mission of Grand Canyon University through GCE's Dual Enrollment department.

Position Summary/Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to service and assist with the enrollment and retention of Dual Enrollment students.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions:

  • Contacting prospective students (phone and email).
  • Processing applications.
  • Collecting applicable admissions documentation.
  • Collecting and advising tuition requirements.
  • Providing thorough customer support and advisement.
  • Reviewing billing and roster information for partnering school districts.
  • These duties will be completed with limited supervision and prompt, disciplined work ethic, as well as customer service are a must for this role.           

Qualifications:  

  • Must be available to work on campus during the Fall and Summer breaks.
  • Willingness to provide excellent customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Willingness to work, learn, and be flexible.

Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:

  • Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a bachelor’s program or master’s program. 
  • Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
  • Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.

You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements. 

Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
Anticipated End Date: June 30, 2027
