Full job description
Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join their adult psychiatric outpatient services team in Lawrence, Kansas.
Position Details:
- Great opportunity for an experienced or new grad ARNP or PMHNP passionate about community mental health - 2 years or more of prescribing NP preferred
- Prior exposure to underserved populations required (training, work experience, or significant volunteer experience are all acceptable) but NP experience does not need to be in psychiatric care
- Treat individuals with serious and persistent mental illness, chronic trauma, and complex psychosocial needs no matter their ability to pay.
- Mix of in person and telehealth visits. Adult panel required but incorporating adolescent patients is optional
- Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:30pm schedule
- No call, no holidays, no weekends
- Starting salary at $140K with additional pay commiserate with experience and excellent comprehensive full time benefits
