Job Description:

Shift: 12:00pm - 12:00am (3 shifts per week)

• Maintains communication with referring physicians and transferring hospitals regarding bed availability or access delays.
• Continuously re-evaluates patient placement requests and adjusts staffing and bed management plans accordingly.
• Evaluates available beds and develop contingency plans with charge staff to ensure uninterrupted patient operations.
• Identifies needs and opportunities for operational improvements to enhance patient access and bed turnaround.
• Initiates, promotes, and participates in interdisciplinary collaboration regarding patient placement.
• Supports and promotes excellence in customer and guest relations.
• Maintains a professional, collaborative, and congenial rapport with internal and external contacts.

Education:

• Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]
• Master's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 2+ years of clinical experience. [Required]
• Previous clinical experience in an acute care or critical care area. [Preferred]
• Previous experience in a patient placement or transfer center [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

$33.99 - $63.22
