The Division of Infectious Disease offers comprehensive care to patients with acute or chronic infections and is a leader in infectious disease control. Northwell Health's Division of Infectious Disease is seeking a Staff Infectious Disease Physician to join our dedicated team at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead, NY. Clinical Highlights: -
Manageable Workload: Average of just 8 new consultations per day, typically presenting with highly manageable, lower-complexity community-acquired and hospital-acquired infections. -
Predictable Schedule: Dedicated inpatient consultation and follow-up, balanced by one designated weekly clinic day for outpatient consultations and continuity of care. -
Focused Outpatient Panel: Opportunity to provide high-impact care to a small, established panel of HIV patients within the clinic setting.
Call Schedule: Enjoy your weekends. On-call expectation is just one weekend per month-and frequently less, thanks to the consistent support of two dedicated per diem rotators.
