A community-based, not-for-profit acute-care critical-access hospital that serves the Northeast Kingdom region in Vermont is adding an Internal Medicine Physician to our outpatient practice. The hospital offers a wide range of services, including primary and preventive care, inpatient and outpatient treatments, surgical and specialty services, and a physician-staffed emergency department operating 24 hours a day.

About the Opportunity:

• Outpatient primary care practice affiliated with a rural critical access non-profit hospital
• Shared call by phone only, averaging 1-2 times per month
• Team of 3 Physicians and 4 NPs
• Patient census of 20-22 patients
• Hiring needs due to growth and retirements
• A supportive team of experienced providers and staff in a collaborative environment
• Meditech EMR
• Recognized NCQA patient-centered medical home
