Atrium Health —part of Advocate Health , one of the largest nonprofit integrated health systems in the country—is seeking a Board-Certified Sleep Medicine Physician to join the largest comprehensive sleep medicine program in the greater Charlotte region.
This is an outpatient, adult-focused opportunity within a physician-led medical group, offering strong clinical support, advanced technology, and a collaborative integrated service line.
Position & Program Highlights
- 1.0 FTE | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Outpatient, adult-focused Sleep Medicine
- Sole physician with dedicated APP support
- EPIC EMR with DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool that streamlines workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review and signature
- Practice in a nationally recognized, integrated organization committed to safe, equitable, and patient-centered care
Atrium Health Sleep Medicine Program
- Largest comprehensive sleep medicine program in the Charlotte region
- 14 sleep testing locations across the Carolinas
- 25+ years of regional sleep care excellence
- 25 board-certified sleep specialists
- All sleep labs accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM)
Services include:
- In-laboratory and home sleep apnea testing
- PAP therapy
- Oral appliance therapy
- Upper airway surgical and bariatric referrals
Candidate Qualifications
- MD or DO with completion of an accredited residency
- Board certification in a primary care specialty or related field
- Board certified in Sleep Medicine
- Completion of an accredited Sleep Medicine fellowship
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in North Carolina
- Active or eligible DEA license in North Carolina
